D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II to right, holding spear pointed forward and shield decorated with horseman. Rev. GLORIA REIPVBLICAE / CONOB Roma, helmeted, seated facing on the left, and Constantinopolis, helmeted, seated to left on the right, placing her right foot on prow and holding between them a shield inscribed VOT / XV / MVLT / XX. Depeyrot 61/1. RIC 207. Numerous scrapes and bangs and the flan somewhat wavy, otherwise, very fine.
